Rodrigo is a health economist and impact specialist with experience across digital health, government advisory and public sector investment. He has led and supported cost-benefit analysis, business case development, economic modelling, financial analysis, benefits realisation and public impact assessments for a range of complex reform initiatives.

How he got here

  • Led economic modelling, cost-benefit analysis and benefits realisation for major national digital health programs for the Australian Digital Health Agency, including the My Health Record modernisation and Health Connect Australia initiatives.
  • Led the design of an agency-wide framework to standardise the identification, quantification and validation of benefits across digital health investments as part of the Digital Health Framework.
  • Led final business case, cost-benefit analysis, financial modelling and employment and land use analysis for a major defence and aerospace projects at the Williamtown Specialist Activation Precinct for the NSW Government.
  • Project managed the business case and led economic, financial and demand analysis for a major sports and entertainment infrastructure investment at Venues NSW, a NSW Government agency that owns and operates many of the states premier sporting and entertainment venues and precints.
  • Delivered business case including demand modelling, CBA, financial and social impact analysis to support infrastructure planning linked to the Brisbane 2032 Games.
  • Led cost-benefit analysis and wellbeing impact assessment for a major urban renewal initiative for the ACT government City Precinct Renewal Program.
  • Delivered economic analysis and cost-benefit assessment for a major water infrastructure investment at Burdekin Falls Dam through Sunwater.
  • Delivered economic and regulatory analysis to inform reforms to the Electrical Safety Act for the Queensland Government.
