Systematic review for the Australian haemophilia guidelines (2015)

The National Blood Authority (NBA) engaged HealthConsult to undertake a systematic literature review in support of the development of Australian clinical practice guidelines for the management of haemophilia. The guidelines are being developed by the NBA and the Australian Haemophilia Centre Directors’ Organisation (AHCDO). The project involved the development of a research protocol, a systematic literature review, critical appraisal of the evidence, use of GRADE methodology, and presentation of the findings to a convened stakeholder group. The project commenced in January 2015 and was completed in April 2015.
