Monitoring, Reporting and Activity Based Costing Of The New And Expanded Community Pharmacy Programs Funded Under The Sixth Community Pharmacy Agreement (6CPA)

The Department of Health engaged HealthConsult to assist with the monitoring, reporting and activity based costing of the new and expanded community pharmacy programs funded under the 6CPA.  The project  involves the development of a monitoring and review framework for five of the 6CPA Programs and six monthly reporting against the frameworks.  In addition, HealthConsult will conduct activity based costing to produce evidence based estimates of the costs of delivering an intervention for the five in-scope 6CPA programs.  The in-scope programs for this project are Dose Administration Aids (DAA); Staged Supply (SS); Home Medicines Review (HMR); MedsCheck and Diabetes Medscheck.  The project commenced in August 2017 and will be completed in March 2020.
