Evaluation of the Prostate Cancer Rural Education Road Show (2012)

The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) engaged HealthConsult to undertake the evaluation of the Prostate Cancer Rural Education Roadshow Program. This is a national program which aims to develop and implement outreach education to health care providers and consumers in regional and rural Australia, as an alternative to metropolitan based educational programs. The objectives of the evaluation are to determine the appropriateness, quality, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of the Prostate Cancer Rural Education Roadshow Program. HealthConsult is using quantitative and qualitative measures to undertake the evaluation and deliver regular progress reports along with a final evaluation report at the completion of the project. The project commenced in December 2012 and was completed in April 2014.
